Everything you need for that last minute exam notification
It’s exams week and you are not prepared becaue you were just told that you
have to give exams 10 minutes before your class. Your students are waiting
and you are about to make a fool of yourself because no one told you.
Well, I hope this never happens to anyone but this is not uncommon in Korea.
You would have a class in a few minutes and you have your lesson plan,
your print outs and everything ready, then you will be told that you have 3 new students
in your class as you are walking to class. Yes it happens so you have to be on your toes.
To try and alleviate the last minute issues that arise on the job, I create a lot
of worksheets and last minute activities. The same goes for last minute exam notitifications.
So here is what you will need if you are told that you have to give an exam you are not
ready for. I have created an evaluation form that you can just download and use. Not only that, I have the questions ready as well that you can ask the students.
They are all open ended questions so the students have no excuse to give you an one word answer.
And if they do or you are not satisifed with their answer, just keep saying ‘and’ ‘and’ until they give the answer you are looking for.
